Bell 212/412 Instructor Pilot

Primary duty will be as Night Vision Goggles (NVG) Search and Rescue (SAR) Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Bell 212/412 Instructor Pilot (IP).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as both Simulator and Flight Instructor as required by RSAF.
• Develop flight profiles to enhance quality of training for Day and Night SAR.
• Raise Instrument and NVG Standards so that Bell 212/412 Crews can perform (All Weather Conditions, Day & Night).
• Develop SAR exercises to test Bell 212/412 capabilities (All Weather Conditions, Day & Night).
• Provide classroom instruction in a wide variety of subject areas using state of the art audio/visual systems and electronic instructional media.
• Develop Instructional Courseware Materials (Student Workbooks, Electronic media, Lesson Guides & Tests, and Lecture Notes).
• Wall Charts Revise/update instructional materials as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• FAA or Military Equivalent NVG Certification as Pilot in Command (PIC) and Instructor
• Highly Qualified with NVG (All Weather Conditions, Day & Night)
• Highly Qualified SAR IP (All Weather Conditions, Day & Night)
• MUST BE:
  • Current and Qualified in Bell 212/412 as IP
  • Current NVG Qualification in Bell 212/412 as IP
  • Certified Flight Instructor with Instrument Certification (CFI\I)

Desired Qualifications:

• USAF/USN/US Army experience as SAR IP, Simulator and Evaluator
• Academic Instructor Course (AIC) Graduate
• Headquarter Level Staff Expert in Search and Rescue
• Current IP in RSAF version of Bell 212/412
